Tubes

KK had her surgery for her tubes this morning and everything went smoothly! The doctor's office told us to be there at 5:30 a.m., and of course, we were early (we always are). Waking up at 4:30am was NOT fun I tell ya!

Tired, Hungry and Thirsty Punkin

When we got to PCH the surgery center was closed so we had to ask security guards where to go/what to do and we ended up playing in the admitting area and waiting outside the surgery center until 6am. Why they told us to get there at 5:30am, I have no clue.

After we filled out paperwork, they took KK back to a room where they took her vitals and we got to speak with both the anesthesiologist and Dr. Raines. They wheeled her off and literally 10 minutes later (I kept track of time) Dr. Raines came into the waiting room to tell us it was all done and she did great. He told us she still had fluid in her ears so he drained that and then put the tubes in. When we went to the recovery room KK was sitting on the nurses lap drinking juice. After about 5 minutes we were released to come home.

Our baby girl was so brave. She is in great spirits and has been playing all day long!
