Summa'time

Kaylynn has such a little personality.  This is what happened when I told her to get dressed for the pool.

We are having so much fun with her lately.  She cracks me up every single day.

Girls Weekend

My boss and I flew to Denver to visit an old coworker while Ty had a father daughter weekend with KK.  I had a blast!!

We even managed to squeeze in a baseball game...

...and a nice dinner at Ocean Prime.

Ty on the other hand, had to take care of one sick girl.  She was throwing up all weekend.  I felt bad not being there to help Ty, but he did a great job cleaning up after her and loving on her.  

 Once she started feeling better a couple days later, I gave her the gift I brought back from Denver.  It's a Rockies outfit!  She loves her Sundevils (basketball type) getup so I thought I'd get her a new outfit for her collection.  She wore this outfit for days!

Swimmer

KK is finally not scared of the pool.  She's always loved the pool but has been scared of anything but the stairs.  We couldn't even get her to swim with us holding her.  I got her a pair of floaties on a whim and she somehow knew what they were and she wanted to wear them.  Miraculously Ty got her to go away from the stairs and he taught her how to swim.  I'm SO proud of her.  I didn't think there was any chance we'd get her away from the "safe" zone (stairs).  I just signed her up for swim lessons so hopefully the lessons will be fun for her.  Good job KK!

Bugs Musical

Every year Tyson's class does a musical about bugs.  I've gone every year that he has been teach except last year.  I thought there was zero chance of KK sitting through the musical without having a meltdown.  Since the meltdowns are nearly as frequent, I decided to go this year.  KK absolutely loved it!  We sat front row and she just stared at the kids and was in awe.  At the end, she even tried singing along!  It was so cute!  Ty's class did great.  I am so proud of him!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was spent at my favorite place ever.  The ballpark.  My friend Rachel offered us some great tickets so we took her up on it.

KK and I even made it on the Jumbotron!  She loves seeing herself up there.

After a few innings she started to say her tummy hurt and cuddled up in my lap and fell asleep.  I knew something was wrong because she NEVER does this.  She rarely did it as a baby!

School Buddies

KK has a solid group of friends at school and most of them are about 5 months younger than KK.  All of them turned 3 in May so we had a big birthday blowout at Peter Piper Pizza.  The kids had an absolute blast!  I think they really enjoying playing with each other outside of school.

I forgot my camera so I could only use my phone for pictures.  Trying to get five 3 year olds to sit still, was impossible.  Here is the best shot I got.
