Here's the skinny on our skinny lil' munch.
20 lbs 8 oz (15th %) She did it! She's FINALLY over 20 pounds!
29 1/4 " (25th %)
She got 3 shots today. She handled them pretty good and only cried for a few minutes. She fell asleep in the car on the way to Lonna's so they must have knocked her out!
- PCV7
- Hep A
- Hib
Dr. Campbell said she has clear ears (finally) and that should be her last ear infection because cold season is pretty much over! Thank goodness!
Here is what's new in the past 3 months. Some things I love, other things I don't.
Here are a few of my favorite things...
- Walking
- Running - chasing her burns calories. :)
- Playing Hide N' Seek - she's a good seeker
- Forward facing in the car seat
- 1 nap per day - although she could still take 2
- Finally learning the "eat" sign
- Signing "potty" after she's gone potty
- High-10 - she reaches up to be picked up and when I'm not in the mood to pick her up, I give her a 'high-10.' It's my way of redirecting ;)
- B words...more like sounds (bird, blue, book)
- Grabbing books and bringing them to us to read to her
- Eating anything and everything, ALL DAY LONG
- Fruit lover - watermelon, blackberries, cantaloupe, blueberries, strawberries, you name it!
- Teefers -big ol' molars (12 teeth total)
- Bottle free! - THAT was a challenge
- Paci free - during the day...she still gets it in her crib
- Independent player - we leave our front door open and she goes in and out of the house and plays in the side yard as well as in her room
- Athlete in the making - soccer, golf, baseball, she loves anything with a ball
- Dora obsesser - like seriously, she loves Dora and points at the TV and says "Doh!" Can't get enough of it. I sure can though!
- Shoe lover -she always wants her shoes on, and if they aren't on, she brings them to me
- Swimmer - well not really a swimmer, but she loves the pool.
- Brushing her hair - she walks around with her brush, brushing her hair. It's super cute.
- Throwing balls
- Swinging on her swing set
- Putting things back where they belong - she likes to remove things and put them back
- Drinking from a water bottle (with daddy's help)
Here are a few of my NON-favorite things...
- Mixing up her signs and signing "all done" for everything
- Getting frustrated that she cannot communicate (read: frantic meltdown)
- Hiding things - she doesn't always put them back!
- Throwing food, sippy cups, tantrums, etc.
- Bringing us her favorite book several dozen times a day. Find a new favorite book KK!
- Throwing herself on the ground when she doesn't get what she wants
- Restaurant high chair wiggle worm - needless to say, we don't go out to eat with her anymore
- Milk hater - she still doesn't like the stuff

Yay KK! How the heck did you teach her potty???
ReplyDeletehaha i think she gets the love of putting things back from you. that's a good one! and i need to learn more about this baby signing thing. i wish we'd done it with evan! i remember wiggle worm and frantic meltdowns. it gets easier! way easier.
