San Francisco Treat

I've never been to San Francisco and have been begging to go, so finally I decided to make it happen. Ty's hometown of San Luis Obispo is only 4 hours from San Francisco, so for part 3 of our trip, we left KK with grandma and Papa and headed on up for a quick over nighter.

We ended up staying at the Fairmont hotel in downtown SF. It was within walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see. Lucky for us, the weather was beautiful!

We checked out Pier 39.

Alcatraz.

Ate some yummy crab chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Nick's Lighthouse in Fisherman's Wharf.

Browsed around and enjoyed the street performers.

Ate some yummy chocolate at Ghiradelli Square.

And saw the famous Lombard Street.

We walked...and walked...and walked...ALL which seemed to be UPHILL. Seriously. I didn't remember walking downhill on the way to Fisherman's Wharf, but on the way back, this is the hill we tackled. See all the way at the bottom where the water is...yeah, that's where we just were.

After exploring we went back to the hotel to relax and get ready for the Giants game!
