We Heart the Thurstons

Cassandra, my friend from high school, her hubby Pete and their son Evan made a little road trip from San Diego to come visit us for the weekend. We managed to fit a lot of fun into 2 days! We took them to our favorite restaurants (Pita Jungle, Pan Asia and Crackers), spent the day on the lake, enjoyed some adult beverages and had a nice relaxing weekend!

Amanda & Vafa were kind enough to watch KK while we went to the lake and even started our day right by making us an AMAZING breakfast! They seriously spoil us. I wanted to make sure we got a full day in, and with KK's moods lately, you never know if she will be an angel or have a major meltdown. So we figured, better safe than sorry.

The weather ended up being beautiful, and the water was cool, but still tolerable. Evan had a great time swimming!

The lake was pretty choppy so we stuck to tubing instead of wakeboarding. Fun was had by all.

The boys sure were relaxed!

This morning Evan was trying to teach KK how to play cornhole and it was the cutest thing! She really loved him!

We ended up having such a great time and we already miss the Thurstons!
