Easter Video

I made a long (like 10 minute long) video of her Easter.  I didn't want to "cut" any of it out because I loved it all.  Enjoy.

Easter

This was KK's first year dying easter eggs.  She wasn't THAT into it but still had fun.  

Easter morning KK woke up around 6am (bright and early).  She didn't notice the easter basket at first but when she did, she went leaping for her new Toy Story Jessie doll!  She was SO excited!!!

After opening up her basket we had our traditional egg hunt in the side yard.  I think this is the first year she actually gets it and enjoys it.

The rest of our day will be spent by the pool, relaxing and enjoying our family day!

Dance! Dance!

Try not to die of shock when I say this...I enrolled KK in dance.  I know, I know.  I said I never would BUT they offer it at school and KK begged, and I mean BEGGED me to sign her up.  She's already enrolled in Jump Bunch (a sports type of class) on Mondays, music class on Tuesdays and now she's doing dance class on Thursdays.  I love it because she can still be involved in activities but I don't have to spend my weekends hauling her from soccer to dance to music.  

KK cannot stop talking about dance and Miss Carol.  When we are out and about shopping she is always asking for "princess" dresses.  If it was up to her, she'd wear a tutu every single day.  She loves everything that is girly (and everything that I despise).  

Like Mother Like Daughter

I love rap music and KK seems to have taken a liking to it as well.  Here she is rocking out to Pitbull on the way home from school.

New Year's Resolution - Broken

My New Year's Resolution was to NOT plan my weekends jam packed so I can try to relax more and enjoy life.  Of course, that resolution was broken within weeks.  I honestly do not know how my life gets to be so dang busy.  Every weekend we are at a birthday party, play date, BBQ, etc.  We always have I something going on.  I've been terrible at blogging because honestly I don't have time.  We went to Karsyn's birthday party last weekend...but I didn't take any pictures.  KK has had play dates with friends from school...but I didn't take any pictures.  She's slumbered at Lonna's about three different times recently (so mommy and daddy can have a night out)...but once again, no pictures.  So the lack of blogging isn't because I'm bored...it's because I'm too busy.

My bow business has kept me very busy as well.  So busy that every time I'd list some bows, someone would buy them within days.  I'm having a hard time keeping up so I decided to take a hiatus from my Etsy shop.

Work has been busier than ever.  I've been working long hours and even weekends.  I got to sit in my very first trial last week which was such an awesome experience...but it put me even further behind.

I started doing Yoga too.  I never in a million years thought that my Type A self would ever enjoy it but it has been SUCH a stress relief for me.  I'm loving every second of it and wish I had tried it years ago!

So needless to say, I've been incredibly busy and incredibly exhausted.  I'm hoping things slow down a little so life doesn't fly right past me.

Dbacks are BACK!

I'm so happy baseball season is fully under way.  To celebrate we took KK to a Dbacks game.  When I mentioned that we were going to the game she got so excited!  We even got her a new jersey this year.  Her shirt from the last two years was way too small.  Our little muchkin is finally growing.  Like a weed!

 

She is seriously SO good at the games.  She will just sit there and watch for the entire game.  She loves hotdogs, peanuts and soda.  She also loves clapping and cheering.

I hope to take her to several games this year.  I also hope the Dbacks play as well as they did for us!

Shopping Partner

KK has never been one to sit in the stroller until now.  She loves going to the mall and cruising around in the stroller.  She also loves the carousel and train too.  Every time we go to the mall, we have to ride one!  Of course Buzz comes along everywhere we go.
