Fight for First

The Dbacks have been playing well lately and with the playoffs right around the corner, they did a "Fight for First" promotion with $5 tickets.  It had been a while since we've been to a game so we decided last minute to head to the ballpark.  It's nice that it's only a few miles from our house.  

Our seats were in the nosebleeds by the play area so when we got there we let KK play.

Then we fed her some yummy ballpark snacks.

My boss and his wife were at the game and had extra tickets so they invited us down to their nice seats.  I love those seats.  Something good always happens to us when we sit in them.  This time Ty caught a shirt during the t-shirt toss and...wait for it...caught a foul ball!  WITH a beer and Dbacks rattle in the other hand I might add.  Now that my friends is talent.

KK loves the idea of Baxter...just not Baxter up close.  Baxter was walking by the aisle and KK was screaming for him (in a good way).  Baxter...PLAY!!!

Then Diane decided to take her down to see him and she flipped out.  No way!  No way! NO WAY!!!

We had a great time at the game and the Dbacks ended up winning.  Every time something good happened (didn't matter what team) Kaylynn wanted to clap.  Here she is when Parra homered.  Pure excitement.

KK ended the night by saying "baseball game tomorrow?"  Yes honey, you get to go to a game tomorrow too!  Lucky girl!  Sometimes I'm jealous of her.  Ha ha.
