Busy Week

I’m not sure quite what happened to this last week, but boy did it fly by. Kaylynn has been throwing us for a loop once again. She will wake up SCREAMING because she is having terrible gas. We can even hear her tooting from our bedroom. We feel so terrible for her because we don’t know what to do to help her. We already have her on Gentlease formula, Mylicon and Gripe Water. Nothing seems to help, so we called Diane, our pediatric nurse (and my boss’ wife). She told us there was one more formula to try, Enfamil Nutramigen. It’s twice as expensive as Gentlease but if it makes her feel better it’s worth it. We go to the pediatrician on Thursday and if there aren’t any improvements by then, I’m not sure what to do. We started this formula Friday night and it seems to be working because she slept 7 hours for the past two nights. She has been fussy and spitting up a lot throughout the day, but I’ll take that over being fussy at 3am! The funny thing about this formula is that it makes her smell like potato chips!

Kaylynn is starting to be so much fun. She just LOVES her playmat that Aunt Kali and Uncle Travis got her. She loves looking at herself in the mirror and she is always kicking up a storm. We can’t wait to put her in soccer!
