Christmas with Mimi

We had an early Christmas with Mimi this year.  My mom has lots of traditions that she has started for Kaylynn.

First off we went to the Elks club to see Santa.  It was raining and cold so we skipped the light parade and had popcorn instead.  Then she jumped around and patiently waited for Santa.

KK likes the concept of Santa, she's just not sure of the actual guy.  She was very cautious and didn't want him getting too close.

I was finally able to get her to tell him what she wanted for Christmas.  Her response...a box of candy canes and Lalaloopsie.

Of course she LOVED Mrs. Claus.  She had yummy candy canes!

Writing Santa a note.

Decorating cookies and leaving them for Santa.

Feeding the reindeer.

The video is hard to see but I thought it was worth posting.  Luckily my paparazzi self created some light in the video.

Mimi Santa left her a stocking and scooter!

Santa left KK a note

This was by far her favorite toy!

Putting makeup on mommy.

Reading "Dora Christmas" with daddy.

Lalaloopsie time!

We also went to visit my grandma, so KK's great grandma who she calls GG.

GG got her a Strawberry Shortcake.  That was my favorite when I was a little girl.

We went to walk around the street fair and saw that they had horsey rides!  KK was SO excited.

She even got to feed a horse a carrot.

We had a great early Christmas with my mom but the next stop was Calabasas to see my dad for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
