Swim Class

We finally enrolled KK in swim lessons!  Granted it was only 4 weeks, but our schedules didn't allow any longer than that.

I saw a Living Social deal so I convinced my friend Jenny to snag it too so we can hang out 4 Saturdays in a row. :)

Here the girls are on their way to swim lessons!

The first day of lessons we were "those" parents with "that" screaming kid.  KK wanted nothing to do with the pool or her instructor, even though her BFF Maddy was with her.  By the end of the first lesson she warmed up a bit.

Lessons 2 and 3 were much better.  KK was open to going under water and was obeying her instructor.   Best of all, she was having a blast!

Lesson 4 was not so smooth.  She refused to listen to the instructors and threw a fit the whole time.  After that lesson, I was glad it was her last day.  She was a very naughty girl.  :(  Overall it was a great experience though.

We've been trying to keep up some of the things that she learned at swim lessons.  Tyson takes her in the pool at least once a day, but usually twice.  She has floaties that she uses for the pool but Tyson also takes her out of those so she realizes what it is like to not have them on.

Perhaps after we get back from our vacation I'll enroll her in some more lessons.  I feel like she could really learn a lot if we kept her in there for more than 4 weeks.
